🌻 About Dopamine & Dandelions
Soul to soil. Garden to plate. Planting seeds of change
Dopamine & Dandelions started in a suburban backyard with a few pots of herbs, zero gardening experience, a lot of curiosity, and plenty of trial and error.
It wasn’t perfect.
It wasn’t planned.
But it grew and kept growing.
Built and run by one person who just started where she was, this has slowly become something more — a space to create, experiment, and build a way of living that feels more grounded and real.
This is about real people, real homes, real lives, and real learning, not perfection or expensive setups.
🌿 WHAT THIS IS REALLY ABOUT
At its core, Dopamine & Dandelions is about making growing feel possible.
Not just for people with land, time, or experience. It’s for everyday people, in everyday spaces.
It’s about:
- growing food in whatever space you’ve got
- learning as you go with some epic fails along the way! (and some glorious wins!)
- using what you already have
- creating your space at your pace
- saving money & getting back to basics
🌱 WHY IT MATTERS
Working with plants changes things. It changes you!
It slows you down.
It gives you something to care for.
It brings you back into the moment – whether that’s watering plants at night, sitting by a fire, or checking on your little seedlings and plant babies in your PJ’s, something new is always growing.
It’s not about having it all together.
It’s just about feeling a little more grounded. A little more you.
And at the same time, it’s practical.
Growing and making things yourself can help you:
- save money
- waste less
- rely less on supermarkets
- and build real, useful skills over time
COMMUNITY & SHARED KNOWLEDGE
GThis isn’t a “do it all yourself” journey.
Dopamine & Dandelions is also about community – sharing ideas, swapping plants, learning from others, and building something together.
Alongside what’s grown and created here, you’ll start to see:
- workshops
- conversations
- and collaborations
With people who bring different skills and perspectives — from permaculture to hydroponics, beekeeping and beyond.
Because no one needs to know everything.
And honestly… it’s better that way.
